Donations

Donations are always needed:

• Gently used clothing for children and adults, and small household items

• Food for the pantry (or a monetary donation, which goes further when we purchase from the Food Bank of Central New York)

• School supplies, collected all year long, are distributed  in July and August

• Sign up to buy a gift for a specific needy child at Christmas through your church or organization, or by calling us at 315-865-5854

• Give surplus produce from your garden to the pantry

• Organize a "Superbowl Sunday" collection or luncheon at your church or organization: Some serve soup, some just pass the bowl, some take a collection in a soup pot.

At this time, please call (315) 865-5854 to make arrangements for drop-off donations. Most donations can be made during open pantry hours.

Food and clothing donations can be brought to the right-hand side of the First Presbyterian Church in Holland Patent when the shop is open on the first three Saturdays and the fourth Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00.  Call for additional times or to make an appointment to drop off items.  Items must be brought upstairs to the store landing; please do not leave them in the entryway of the church.

Can & Bottle donations are accepted at Desantis on Rt 12 in Barneveld! Please specify the program you wish to donate to: Food Pantry, Christmas Baskets, or Building Campaign.
